We came to try out a few specific dishes to Verona as tourists, and were amazed! The service of course was out good, they were all really nice and helpful. The food though, was exquisite. Compliments to the cook and the establishment!! And thank you for letting us have a taste of Verona. :)

This great restaurant was right across the street from where we were staying. The first night we dined there our only requirement was something close&hellip;we were weary from all,our walking. But what a surprise when we found the food to be among the best we&rsquo;ve ever had! We returned our second night and found the same: wonderful local cuisine, warm atmosphere, fantastic presentation and reasonable prices. Don&rsquo;t hesitate to try it out! (To be on the safe side&hellip;make a reservation. It was mostly full both nights we were there.)

This is a restaurant where mainly locals eat so it&rsquo;s not about decor and ambience. It&rsquo;sabout a 25 minute walk from Piazza Erbe, and a little underwhelming when you enter. It was quite hot inside due to it being in the 30&rsquo;s outside. Also, there was little if any air conditioning. That aside, the food and service were exceptional. The menu was full of local delicacies you would not find in any of the tourist areas, so it was a great choice. The owner served us and explained the menu fully. As a result we had a lovely meal. Certainly a &ldquo;must try&rdquo;.
